Marvelli Gallery, founded in 2001 and located in Chelsea, New York, is a contemporary art gallery that exhibits international emerging and established artists working in photography, painting, installation, video and sculpture.
Marvelli Gallery represents the following artists: Bill Abdale, Hans Bellmer, Skyler Brickley, Fendry Ekel ,Larry Fink, John Finneran, Craigie Horsfield, Ingar Krauss, Alex McQuilkin, Anders Petersen, Manuel Pina, Juliana Romano, Mira Schor, Michael St. John, Angela Strassheim, and Christer Stromholm. Many of these artists exhibited in New York for the first time with Marvelli Gallery and since have shown at the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Art Institute of Chicago, the Musee de L'Elysee, the Walker Art Center, the Reina Sofia, and the Centre Pompidou among other major institutions.
The gallery also organizes group exhibitions linking contemporary artists with artists from different periods. These insightful exhibitions have been commended for their depth and originality in articles and reviews featured in the The New York Times, The New Yorker, ArtForum, Art in America, Flash Art, and New York Magazine.
